Briggs Bauman
Dr. Bauman earned his Doctorate from the University of Alabama, School of Optometry, The Medical Center. He worked in an ophthalmology clinic for nine years before acquiring the established practice of Daniel Jason, O.D. Dr. Bauman specializes in glaucoma and macular degeneration treatment and the detection and monitoring of diabetic eye disease.
Hobbies include singing in the church choir, tennis, outdoor photography, hiking and camping.
Dr. Bauman is active in the Lions Club and enjoys participating in various other community organizations and activities.
Sheetal Haria
Dr. Haria, a native of Washington, D.C., graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Haria specializes in comprehensive eye care and the medical management of eye diseases which include glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and dry eye. In her spare time, Dr. Haria enjoys traveling, hiking, jazz, and spending time with her husband and two children.
John Crews
Dr. John Crews brings a wealth of experience to our team. After graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1985, he further honed his skills with an optometric residency in Geriatrics and Low Vision Rehabilitation. Dr. Crews dedicated many years to serving the Danville community at Dominion Eye Center (later Harman Eye Center) and most recently shared his expertise as a Clinical Associate Professor at UABSO, guiding future optometrists. He and his wife, Susan, a retired optometrist, are proud parents of two grown children. Outside of the office, John enjoys spending quality time outdoors, hiking, and playing golf.
